Use an alias in Outlook for Windows

If you have set up an alias with us, you can also use it on your Windows computer with Outlook.

Although we do not offer support for email clients (since there are simply too many of them and we do not develop this software), we are happy to provide instructions for specific use cases. First, set up your mailbox primary address in Outlook. The mailbox address must be integrated into Outlook for you to use this feature. We provide instructions for setting up your mailbox account in Outlook in the article Setting Up an Email Account in Outlook.

How to temporarily send emails using an alias in Outlook for Windows

When composing an email, you can choose whether to use your primary address or your alias in the From ▾ field.

1. Open a new email in Outlook.
2. Click the From ▾ field and select Other email address....
3. A new window will open. Select your alias address from the list.
4. You can now send emails from the alias address.
