E-mail configuration
If two-factor authentication is enabled, you must use an application-specific password when setting up external applications (e.g., calendar/address book apps, WebDAV clients, Drive synchronization tools, or Exchange ActiveSync).

Set Up Other Mail Clients Manually
Our servers are configured so that current mail clients can automatically detect the necessary settings based on your mail address (@mailbox.org). This means that, in most cases, no manual setup is required.
Mail Address & Password for Authentication
Login always consists of the following credentials:
| Username | Password |
|---|---|
Your main mail address, e.g. john.doe@yourdomain.org | Your mailbox password or an application password (if two-factor authentication is enabled) |
Note: If you have activated two-factor authentication (2FA), you cannot use your normal mailbox password for external mail clients. In this case, you must create and use a dedicated application password for each mail client in the mailbox settings under All settings | Security | Application passwords.
