When is a deleted address available again

Alias address

If you have deleted an alias in your account, you can reactivate it at any time within the retention period. Only after this period has expired can the alias be registered by other users. mailbox blocks deleted aliases depending on the age of the account for at least 90 days and thus actively protects your privacy.

Mail address

If you have terminated your mailbox account, the mail address will remain blocked for at least 90 days (also depending on the age of the account). Only after the retention period has expired can the address be registered again by another user.
