Using an alias in Outlook 2016 for Windows

Using an alias in Outlook 2016 for Windows

If you have set up an alias, you can also use it on your Windows computer with Outlook 2016.

We do not offer support for mail clients (since there are simply too many and we do not develop this software ourselves), but we are happy to provide guides for specific use cases. First, set up your mailbox main address in Outlook 2016. The mailbox address must be integrated in Outlook in order to use the alias function.

  4. Select Let me set up my account manually and click Connect.
  5. Choose IMAP as the account type.
  6. Confirm your entries. Outlook will now test the connection.
  7. If the test is successful, click Finish.
