What are the requirements for my password?
Permitted characters
The password for your mailbox account may contain a combination of the following characters:
- Upper-case letters (A–Z)
- Lower-case letters (a–z)
- Numbers (0–9)
- Special characters: ! $ " % & / ( ) = * + - # . , ; : @ ? [ ]"
Tips
- Use a unique password for your email inbox that you do not use for any other service.
- Do not use easily guessable information such as birthdays or names.
- Ideally, use a password manager to create and store long and complex passwords.
- Secure your mailbox account further with two-factor authentication.
