How can I disable the Guard

If you have decided against using Guard and would like to disable this functionality, please send a request to our support team via e-mail. They will first verify that you are the account holder and if this is the case, disable the Guard functionality for your account.

Please note: If you tell us to deactivate your Guard, the related encryption keys that were previously stored on our servers will be deleted. That means you will not be able to access any e-mails or data previously encrypted with these keys (unless you upload a local backup of your keys made earlier).
