At mailbox.org, you have the convenient option to pay for your service via direct debit. Direct debit, also known as automatic debit authorization, allows you to automatically deduct payments from your bank account without the need for manual intervention on a regular basis. This eliminates the risk of your account being blocked. Direct debit is available to you if you have already made a payment using a different method, such as bank transfer, PayPal, or cash.

📄️ Value Added Tax

In 2015, Germany implemented an EU regulation that changed the way VAT is charged in the European Union. As a result, the VAT rate applicable for digital services will be the local rate charged in the country of the client. The reason is that all businesses are obliged to transfer any value-added tax payments received to the financial authorities in those countries. - Please state your country of residence that we should use for tax purposes.

📄️ What happens at the end of my contract

When your contract term is over, we turn your account into a restricted user account. This limits your number of e-mails per day and reduces the amount of storage available to you. As soon as you extend your contract, your restricted account reverts back to a fully-featured account.
