If you connect your mobile device using ActiveSync, only current appointments and e-mails will by synchronized. This is a function of the design and concept of ActiveSync and is not related to our services. Normally, past e-mails are only synced by ActiveSync for a few days.

Yes. Even if we often focus on using IMAP or IMAP servers for the sake of simplicity, you can also use the POP3 protocol to access your e-mails. The host name for this protocol is pop3.mailbox.org and it is naturally encrypted using SSL. E-mail programs should detect this as part of the automatic configuration and make the necessary settings.

Users can either leave the default setting in place which encrypts all messages or specify additional rules that exclude certain messages from encryption.

Most of our complaints come from users who wish to use Outlook 2011 for Mac and are unable to connect to our IMAP or SMTP servers. The problem is that this version of Outlook still uses the RC4 encryption method, which is considered be broken and can therefore no longer be used. Everyone knows that when it comes to encrypted communication, it is no longer possible to use RC4 with a clear conscience.
