WebDav for Windows

Those who use Microsoft Windows can access their mailbox.org Drive via WebDAV.

You can also mount the mailbox.org drive as a network drive under Windows. For access via WebDAV you need the following login data:

You also need the last name and first name you entered in the mailbox.org settings.

Connect Windows Network Drive

Open Windows Explorer and right-click on "This PC". From the context menu, select the "Connect network drive" entry. A window appears where you can select the drive letter under which the new network drive with the drive connection should be displayed.

Under "Folder", add the address https://dav.mailbox.org/servlet/webdav.infostore/Userstore/First Name, Last Name. The comma and the space between First Name and Last Name are necessary and must always be entered. First Name and Last Name are taken from the contact data of your main account at mailbox.org (in the settings in the mailbox.org portal).

Variants

Occasionally and depending on the use case, a different syntax for the URL may be necessary, for example if programs can't handle the the space character (Here it often helps to try %20 instead of the space character). The following is a list of spelling variations:

https://dav.mailbox.org/servlet/webdav.infostore/Userstore/First Name Last name

https://dav.mailbox.org/servlet/webdav.infostore/Userstore/Last Name,%20First Name/

For Enpass users:

https://dav.mailbox.org/servlet/webdav.infostore/Userstore/Last Name First Name/ENPASS

Now check the box "Reconnect at login" and click on "Finish".

Windows now creates entries in Windows Explorer under "This PC" and links the selected network folder here as a network drive. When you open it, you will be asked for your mailbox.org account and your user password. If everything worked, the explorer now shows the content of your Drive.
