Vouchers for friends
As an active mailbox customer, you can invite your friends and acquaintances to use mailbox. As a bonus, they will receive €3.00 in credit, which is equivalent to up to three months’ free use.
Note
You can only refer friends once you have paid for a plan. This feature is disabled for new accounts.
How do I refer friends?
- Click the gear icon in the top right corner and select the All settings menu option.
- In the settings, click Refer a friend.
- Enter the email addresses of the people you wish to refer. You can send up to 5 invitations at a time.

How many invitations can I send?
You can invite up to five people at the same time.
How long are invitations valid and what happens after the validity expires?
The invitations are valid for 30 days. Once this period has expired, you can invite more people.
Can I see who has accepted the invitation?
No, for data protection reasons, the process is designed so that the status of the invitation cannot be viewed.
Why does the invited person have to make a deposit before the credit is applied?
To prevent the invitations from being misused, the credit will only be applied once a deposit has been made by the invited person.
