At mailbox.org, we offer all new customers a free 30-day trial account to fully explore our services. During this period, all menu items, settings, and services are available. However, to protect against abuse by spammers, scammers, and criminals, we've had to limit certain features, including the number of e-mails that can be sent, receiving e-mails from specific domains, and the quota of usable cloud and mail storage.

These restrictions are necessary to prevent misuse of anonymous trial accounts for activities such as registering third-party accounts (including registration e-mails from social media and payment services like PayPal), sending spam, or engaging in illegal file sharing.

These measures protect all mailbox.org users by ensuring the constant good standing of our service with other providers, which helps in the reliable delivery of all e-mails and prevents our e-mails from being marked as spam.

Restrictions During the Trial Period​

Therefore, we've limited sending and receiving e-mails, as well as the use of cloud storage during the trial period as follows:

  • sending up to 10 e-mails per day to mailbox.org users
  • receiving e-mails from selected social media platforms & payment service providers is restricted or not possible
  • e-mail storage space is limited to 100 MB
  • cloud storage space is limited to 10 MB

How Can These Restrictions Be Lifted?​

Once we receive a deposit into your account, these restrictions are completely lifted. After that, sending up to several thousand e-mails per day is possible.
