Shared Tasks
Shared task lists in the family account
The functions described in this article are available in all plans except the Light plan. If you have created at least two family accounts, you can collaboratively edit and view calendars, contacts in the address book, tasks, and files within this group.
Shares in mailbox
Every share, that is everything that can be shared, is organized as a folder in mailbox. Sharing address books, calendars, tasks, and file folders therefore always follows the same pattern.
Creating a task folder in the family account
To use a task list in the family account, a member with a family account must first create a new task folder. To do so, open mailbox Office, go to the Tasks tab (1), click on the link Add new folder (2), and enter a suitable name (3).

To make the newly created task folder available to other members of the group, open the context menu of the folder (the icon with the three horizontal lines (4), Figure 2) and select the menu item Share / Permissions (5). Records are not shared automatically unless you configure the shares.

Permissions for task folders
In the following dialog Permissions for folder Family tasks (Figure 3), you can add several or all members of your group. There are different roles, which you can choose by clicking on the Details drop-down menu:
- Author: read, write, and delete permissions
- Editor: read and write permissions
- Viewer: read-only access

Using shared task folders
All members of the group who have been granted access to the shared task folder will find the folder in mailbox Office, under the Tasks tab in Shared tasks (Figure 4). Depending on their permissions, they can edit tasks, delete them, or add new tasks.

Adding guests
The owner of a task list may also add other users who are not part of the family account — via the Add others input field. Guests invited in this way always receive read-only access to the task list shared with them.
