Anonymous new registration
This article has been updated for beta users. You can find the new version for beta users further below.
To open a mailbox.org account, we require both a first and last name. However, since we do not verify this information, you are free to use any pseudonym you prefer.
The name is required in the mailbox.org web portal because you may want to collaborate with others on tasks or share files with third parties.
Sometimes a real name is necessary
If you intend to use your mailbox.org account data for official purposes (for example, to submit invoices to an employer), we recommend using your real name from the beginning. Unfortunately, we are unable to modify invoices retroactively—our system processes payments automatically and immediately generates the first invoice based on the information entered under Profil | Edit personal data.
Figure: You can enter personal data in the settings - fantasy names are also possible, with us you can remain anonymous.
