Using multiple email addresses in one account
Setting up a domain alias
Many companies own several domains that often differ only by their respective top-level domain. It is therefore understandable that employees want to be reachable under all domains. For example, Max Mustermann’s business card shows the address m.mustermann@example.com, but Mr. Mustermann would also like to receive mail at m.mustermann@example.de.
You can set this up by activating the corresponding domain, creating the mail addresses, and then adding a domain alias.
To do this, log in to the Console with the administrator account and first open the Domain management for the .com domain. Create the desired mail addresses here. Then return to the Domain management and add the .de domain. Next, create a new catchall mail address @example.de, fill out the form with any first and last name, and assign a secure password. Save your entries.
Now select the Edit icon next to the newly created catchall address and enter @example.com as the forwarding target. Deactivate the option “Also save mails in the mailbox despite forwarding” and save again.
