Email configuration

Set up other email clients manually

Our servers are configured so that current email clients can automatically detect the necessary settings based on your email address (@mailbox.org). This means that, in most cases, no manual setup is required.

Email address and password for authentication

Login always consists of the following credentials:

UsernamePassword
Your main email address, e.g. john.doe@yourdomain.orgYour mailbox password or an application password (if two-factor authentication is enabled)
Note

If you have activated two-factor authentication (2FA), you cannot use your normal mailbox password for external email clients. In this case, you must create and use a dedicated application password for each email client in the mailbox settings under All settings > Security > Application passwords.
