E-Mail Configuration
Set Up Other Mail Clients Manually
Our servers are configured so that current mail clients can automatically detect the necessary settings based on your mail address (@mailbox.org). This means that, in most cases, no manual setup is required.
Mail Address & Password for Authentication
Login always consists of the following credentials:
| Username | Password |
|---|---|
Your main mail address, e.g. john.doe@yourdomain.org | Your mailbox password or an application password (if two-factor authentication is enabled) |
Note: If you have activated two-factor authentication (2FA), you cannot use your normal mailbox password for external mail clients. In this case, you must create and use a dedicated application password for each mail client in the mailbox settings under All settings | Security | Application passwords.
