Creating catch-all addresses in administration

Creating a Catch-All Address for a Domain

A common requirement is to have all emails sent to a domain delivered to a specific address – regardless of whether the specified address exists.
For example, all emails sent to the domain example.com (no matter what comes before the @) should be delivered to info@example.com.

To create such a forwarding rule, please proceed as follows:

  • Sign in at https://setup.mailbox.org.
  • Click the domain you want to configure (do not click the checkbox next to it).
  • Then click the “+” icon at the top to create a new email account.

Now fill in the fields as shown:

In the “Mail” field, nothing may appear before the @.
You must enter any first and last name.
Under “New forwarding”, specify the email address to which all emails for this domain should be forwarded.

Remove the checkmark from “Also store emails in the mailbox despite forwardings”.

Scroll down, set a password, and then click Save.
