What is an alias and how do I use it

Create Aliases for Existing Mailboxes

Note: With the Standard plan, you can create up to 25 aliases. With the Premium plan, you can use up to 100 aliases.

No aliases are available in the Light plan.

You can create additional addresses — so-called aliases — for existing mailboxes.

  • Log in to the Console using your administration account.
  • Click on the corresponding domain.
  • Then click the pencil icon to the right of the mailbox address to edit it.

  • Enter the new alias address in the marked field, or click the small “+” to add multiple aliases.
  • Scroll down and click Save.

Important: You must always use the main address to log in to the mailbox.
