Password forgotten
User has forgotten their password
If a user has forgotten their password and has no reset method set up in their account, the Business account administrator can reset the password via the console.
To reset a user’s password as the Business account administrator:
- Log in to the Console.
- In the Domain section, click on the domain under which the user has their mailbox.
- Click the pencil icon in the row for the relevant user.
- Scroll to the bottom of the page in the edit view.
- Enter a new password for the user or click the gear icon in the Password field to automatically generate a new password.
- Activate the checkbox Force password change on next login.
- Click Save.
- Send the user their new password and ask them to log in to their mailbox.
The password has been successfully reset. Upon their next login, the user will be prompted to change their password.
User no longer has access to their 2FA method
If a user has lost access to their device for two-factor authentication, please contact our Support team. It is currently not possible for the Business account administrator to reset the 2FA method.
