Drive storage

Note: The functions described in this article are available in all plans except the Light plan.

Storage types at mailbox

At mailbox, the available storage space is divided into two categories:

  • Mail storage: Includes mails and their attachments.
  • Office storage: Covers all other data.

Note: To check how much storage space is available to you and how much is already used, you can either activate the Storage widget in the Portal tab or check in the Mail or Drive tabs in the left sidebar.

Office storage in detail

Office storage includes, among other things:

  • Files in Drive
  • Files in the trash
  • Older versions of files
    • Select a file in Drive.
    • Activate the File details view.
    • In the right sidebar, you can expand a list of previous versions of this file and open, download, or delete individual entries.
  • Images and attachments in contacts
  • Attachments in calendar entries
  • Attachments in tasks

Special features of family accounts

In family accounts, storage space is shared. This means that the storage space provided by the individual plans of the members is added together and can be used simultaneously by all members.

Booking additional storage

If your storage space is not sufficient, you can book additional Drive storage at any time. Navigate to:

There you can flexibly activate additional storage, tailored to your individual needs.
