Those who use Microsoft Windows can access their Drive via WebDAV.

Set up the network drive mapping

  1. On your keyboard, press and hold the Windows key and then press E to open Windows Explorer.

  2. In Windows Explorer, select and right-click This PC to open the context menu.

  3. From the context menu, select Map network drive

  4. A pop-up window will appear. Assign a drive letter to the network drive. After the drive has been successfully mapped, this letter will be listed in the Windows Explorer file manager to allow easy access to your data.

  5. In the field „Folder“, enter the following:
    astname, Firstname (Please note, there’s a space between Lastname and Firstname and a ",". Please also note the used upper case at the beginning of the two words)


    Sometimes and depending on the use-case (e.g. the usage of Enpass) you need to use a different syntax. You need to try out which variety works out for you.
    Please also be advised that some programs that use WebDav do not support special characters like "ä" or "é". You might have to enter those as percent encondig. Lastname,%20Firstname/

    In order to find out what first name and last name has been used, please log into your online office and verify according to this screenshot:

  6. Tick the check box that says „Reconnect at sign-in“,

  7. Click „Finish“ to complete the mapping.

  8. Windows will now create a direct link to the network folder and display this on the left-hand side in the hierarchy under the top-level element „This PC“.
    After entering your username and password, the WebDAV folder contents will appear.

    Result: All files stored in your Drive can now be easily accessed through Windows Explorer.
